About Us
With more than 40 years of experience in the public sector, the principals of Saville Public Entity have helped build the public entity insurance industry, creating and refining programs with many of the major carriers in the United States. Our principals have written hundreds of cities, counties, schools, and utilities, with premiums ranging from $10,000 to more than $2,500,000, through exclusive programs and custom-designed self-insured plans.
Saville Public Entity is a wholesale insurance broker working with local agents in 35 states. We place coverage with carriers that specialize in local government, and we work directly with cities and counties to make sure their coverage is structured correctly.
Experience:
Over more than four decades, our principals have placed hundreds of millions of dollars in public entity premium with the major carriers active in the public sector. We market accounts to multiple carriers and programs, so agents and public entities can see real options side by side.
We focus exclusively on public entities. Our experience covers property, general liability, auto, workers’ compensation, law enforcement liability, public officials liability, cyber, crime, and excess coverage. We also help cities and counties prepare for changing risks, including shifts in liability law affecting local governments, cyber attacks and payment fraud, rising jury verdicts, and coordinating workers’ compensation with auto coverage so an entity isn’t paying for overlapping protection.
We place coverage with financially strong carriers rated A or better by A.M. Best.
